Steven is a drummer, percussionist, educator, composer, arranger, and producer with an MM in Jazz Performance from the Mason Gross School of the Arts. As a student, he studied both drum-set and classical percussion under world class musicians. As a performer, he has shared the stage with many of today's most notable artists in the jazz and classical fields. As an educator, he has held the position of drum set and percussion teacher at The Woodstock Academy and the Mansfield CT Community School of the Arts, as well as other institutions, teaching students of all ages, interests, and skill levels. As a producer and composer, he has released 3 full length albums, 3 EP's and multiple remix projects as Sasco. As a recording drummer, he has played on projects by various rock, jazz, RnB, and pop artists in NY, CT, and NJ. He also functions as a live drummer for any context, performing jazz, funk, rock, soul, pop, hip-hop, chamber, and classical music. He is now in Brooklyn, NY where he performs and teaches.
