Hi there!
 I have a firm believe that music is one of the purest forms of self expression, and aiding people in discovering their talents and passions is one way that I can share my love of music. As a child I took piano lessons in the hopes of learning to play jazz. Unfortunately I found myself with a teacher with whom I could not communicate, and was not able to adapt to the styles of music that I found stimulating. I was left apathetic, so I quit. Only in later years did I try again, and through teaching myself, found that I, in fact, love the instrument! This is one of the reasons why I really want to teach; I recognize how integral the role is to inspiring and instilling a sense of worth and passion of all kinds of music to my students.

Name is Stephen Menold, and I am a musician. My major instrument is the Contrabass/bass guitar, although I do play Piano and Guitar. I am currently a Masters student studying both jazz and classical styles at Loyola University in New Orleans. I am thrilled to help you along with your musical journey, wether its getting started on the instrument or digging deeper with the skills you have and getting better I’m here to help.

My Name is Stephen Menold, I’m a music teacher, My main instrument is Upright bass, but I have been composing and teaching on piano as well for the past 6/7 years.

I’m Originally from Canada and I’m glad to be in the USA to bring music to people.

I like to tailor my lessons to your interests, I am interested in you not only learning an instrument but also learning to understanding how music works, as a language and as a way that you can express who you are.
