Hello! I am Stefanie, a full lyric soprano currently residing in the Chicago area. I hold a Master's in Vocal Performance from North Park University, have completed graduate coursework in Music Education and Choral Conducting at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and received my BA in Music from the University of Rochester. I have been teaching both as a private voice teacher and as a choral music educator and conductor for about 5 years both in the Chicago area and in the Champaign, IL area at churches, schools, and privately. I have worked with students of all ages and levels from 9 years old through older adults. The technique I teach is primarily based in bel canto (translates to "beautiful singing") technique. I truly believe that this technique encourages healthy vocal habits and production to ensure vocal longevity and endurance, regardless of the genre of music the student would like to perform.

Write a ReviewStefanie is one of the best Classical voice teachers for singers of all ages. Not only is she an experienced performer, but also well-versed in teaching, vocal coaching, and conducting. She has been thoroughly trained in classical voice by some of the best Artist-teachers, from the East Coast, Midwest, West Coast and in Europe. With her abundant youthful energy and enthusiasm, she can help you achieve your dreams. Stefanie's lessons emphasize healthy technique, breath support, musicianship and interpretative skills. She also has a background in dance, choreography and theater, which is most useful in its application to singing. You will be very pleased with the results in your singing and performance ability- as have so many of her students.
