I am a college student at William Jewell College in Liberty, MO, studying music performance and music theory and composition. I started teaching guitar four years ago on Ft. Leavenworth, KS. I tailor each lesson to the students personal interest and abilities. Each lesson should be fun and enjoyable. Music is an art form as well as a science, and should always be fun. *** Lesson Details *** My lessons are laid back and enjoyable, but I do expect my students to complete their homework. Because my lessons are so personally tailored, my curriculum is also flexible. On the first lesson, I talk with my student and get a feel for their interests and ability. With this in mind, students are not issued any curriculum until the second lesson at the latest. After three months, a beginning student, will be able to display proficiency and intermediate knowledge of the guitar and music theory. *** Travel Equipment *** Student must have their own classical guitar.
