Spence is a great teacher who’s taught for many years.I have been with Spence for a year. I am 71 years old and was unsure I could start at this age. He is a calm and encouraging teacher with infinite knowledge and teaching skills. Under his guidance I am playing songs, transposing basic keys, strumming, and getting into a little bit of music theory, something that was completely foreign to me. He is the kind of instructor that makes you eager to practice and to show him what you have accomplished In between lessons. I had the chance to watch him perform in one of his two groups, and he does all the fancy riffs. Finding Spence has made my guitar playing a great new adventure!

Spencer worked hard with me to become a better player on acoustic, electric guitar and bass guitar. From music theory to ear training he did it all. I would not be the musician I am today without his help. Knowledgeable in every form of music, jazz to heavy metal, to reading sheet music and tabs. He’s also just super friendly and easy to work with. Became a good friend too!
