Hi learners, Grade school through College students I am here to help. I have a knack for being able to jump into any subject and help a student understand and succeed. Parents Im here to help! Give part of the load of teaching your children to me. Yes another hour on the computer but two-three more hours spent enjoying the company of your children. While I am comfortable in all subjects, I specialize in Music. I began piano at the age of 5 years old and voice lessons at 9 years old. I graduated from San Francisco State University and Los Angeles College of Music. I have performed with Grammy Award Winners Mya and Patrice Rushen. I have opened for Haily Reinhart, SOMO, and Sammy J. I competed in American Idol, The Voice, and Americas Got Talent. I released an all original music album and have toured nationally and internationally playing and singing on piano as well as with my 8 piece band. After college I began teaching voice and piano. I invented the music theory game called Match which helps students learn music theory 30% faster than out of a book and music lessons combine. In my vocal lessons I teach the anatomy of the voice and proper vocal technique, allowing any student to sing any song. My music genres include Pop, R&B, Jazz, Rock, and World Music. I teach Songwriting, playing instruments while singing, and the art of performing. My students participated in the Musa National Music Competition Three of them taking 1st place titles and one 2nd place title; two years in a row. I speak French, Arabic and English. I am learning Spanish and am happy to teach songs in different languages. I love music and look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion with all of you. Happy learning!
