Founded on the campus of Oklahoma State University on November 27, 1919, Kappa Kappa Psi is a guiding light with which band students can grow, learn, and develop themselves and their band programs. Kappa Kappa Psi is an organization of opportunity and quality, brimming with historic, well-developed leadership and membership programming that students use to become great leaders, better band members and better adapted young adults prepared for what lies ahead of them.

I had been teaching lessons here and there during high school and through graduating from college. Once I moved to Burbank, I had to pause my lessons while I got settled.

Every lesson will be customized for every student. We'll chat about strengths, weaknesses, and goals in the first lesson. From there we will develop a plan together. I find it very important that both the teacher and the student are on the same page! Scales, reading music, posture, embouchure, advanced techniques, sight reading, audition prep, stage fright, marching tips, we'll cover it all! Practical homework will be given to help continue the learning between lessons.

I have been playing the flute and piccolo for 15 years. Music has changed my life and I have met countless friends through participating in marching and concert bands. I have been lucky enough to travel the world and share my love of music performing in Madrid, Rome, Barcelona, and Montreal. I have performed in parades at both Disney World and Disney Land. I want to continue sharing my love of music to students near and far.

Sierra has a lot of helpful tips on breathing that I haven't heard elsewhere.  She is adapting the lessons to meet my exact needs.  I highly recommend her!

Sierra is a wonderful instructor. She will take the time to isolate problem areas and come up with specific exercises to improve those areas. She was always encouraging and willing to try a different approach when needed. She helped improve my playing and confidence tremendously.
