Overview

I love teaching music!
I have been teaching violin and fiddle for 20years now. I have been a professional violinist for 40years and love to share my experiences and knowledge of music with others.

I teach beginners/intermediate and advanced students with a complete focus on getting students to play as soon as possible. I teach both by ear and with sheet music. I am extremely patient and my students always have a great time learning.

I have won over 65 National Violin Championships and 13 World Violin Championships, andI have managed 3 violin shops across the US.

If you don't wish to take lessons with me, I still plead with you that you take any lessons from anyone and PLAY MUSIC! :) :)

You can see more about me at sheilamaguire.net and read some testimonies from my students.

Looking forward to hearing from you! :) sheilamaguire@live.com

Sheila has a great personality, very patient with beginners, and creates a friendly learning environment. She has great world wide violin experience and has won many violin contests.

In just a few lessons my skill and understanding has greatly improved.

Sheila was so friendly, and did a great job pushing me to work hard, but in a gentle, friendly way. I had a lot of fun in the lessons! I went in with no real knowledge of the fiddle, and came out with a great experience. I definitely recommend her!
