Singing with Shavit P.

I am a professional musician, singer, composer and recording artist. I graduated from The New School For Jazz with a Bachelors of Music, specifically voice and composition. I have been teaching music for the last 11 years and have a lot of experience as a private teacher. I specialize in vocal technique, classical music, vocal jazz, piano for beginners and more. My voice students can expect to improve week after week in their lessons. Having a teacher that listen to you, understands you and helps you is very important for your personal development. As a music teacher I have always been told that I have a lot of patience, I am very clear with my explanations and that I love to teach and share music information. Outside of the classroom I enjoy my music career in the last 23 years. I had performed and recorded with diverse music groups on stages, festivals and competitions in Spain, England, The Netherlands, Israel and USA, experiences that showed me the power of music to bring people together. I had appeared as a soloist at the famous Abu-Gosh Renaissance festival with the "Bat-Kol" choir, conducted by Anat Morahg, and performed and recorded a new arrangement by Roger Waters of Pink Floyd's The Wall. I was also a member of the Naked Voice A Capella ensemble, conducted by Tamir Chason.
