Learn to sing the way you want to sing!

It is my job to teach you the physical coordination of healthy singing technique. How to hear and feel your voice so you can sing more freely than ever before! The voice is our most personal form of expression and everyone has some degree of judgment of their own voice. Even the most successful vocalists can struggle with doubt regarding their voice. My role is to help you understand your voice and learn to sing what it is you want to be able to sing with confidence. I create a supportive and comfortable environment so that you are assured to receive the greatest benefit and success. With the methods I teach you will expand your range, vocal power, tonal quality, intonation, and develop a unified tone connecting your vocal registers. You will gain greater agility singing vocal riffs and runs, develop a more consistent and natural vibrato, and a deeper level of emotional performance. And much greater confidence! I have over 25 years professional singing experience as a performer, recording artist, and session singer. I have been fortunate to work with some of the greatest producers and musicians in pop and rock over my years as a singer and.have trained under world renowned vocal coaches. The methods I teach benefit singers of all musical genres including Pop, Rock, R & B, Soul, Country, and Musical Theater. I teach students of all levels from beginners to lifelong professional singers.

I am confident there isn't a singer on earth I couldn’t help get more from their voice! I have over 25 years professional singing experience as a performer, recording artist, and session singer. I have been a vocal coach to hundreds of students out of my own studio since 2014. I took piano lessons at 5 and guitar lessons at 11. By the age of 13 I was singing in my first original band and by age 15 I was performing at local clubs and colleges around Los Angeles. At 21 my band The Creed recorded with legendary producer David Jerden (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Offspring, The Rolling Stones) and the band received air play on Los Angeles rock stations KROQ and KEDG.  I later formed Life on Mars which became a regular headliner at renowned Hollywood clubs the Viper Room and The Roxy and the bands track "Killer in The Television" was featured on KROQ DJ's Jed the Fish show as his "Catch of the Day" in 1998.  Life on Mars completed a self-titled CD in 1998 produced by Jonathan Merrill and mixed by Stu Brawley (Madonna, Michael Jackson, Emmy Rossum).  I have been fortunate to work with some of the greatest producers, engineers and musicians in rock and pop over my years as a singer. I have sung on numerous national and international ad campaigns such as Barbie, VH1, Virgin Cola, The Academy Awards, and many others. I have written songs for Disney.  I released a solo CD Shane "Stuck on Earth"  in 2007.  After over two decades of professional singing I decided to expand my vocal vocabulary by training under world renowned vocal coaches. I learned to understand the physiology of singing, and developed a great deal further as a singer. I was able to expand my range and learn to sing higher and lower notes without straining even after years of singing. Since that time my understanding of the voice has grown light years beyond what it was when I was just performing. I find it incredibly rewarding each time a singer I am working with experiences that moment of happiness and surprise as they have a breakthrough change in their singing ability or understanding, and lucky for me that happens a lot.   My focus is on developing consistent pure tone and singing through the vocal registers with a single unified voice. With this method some aspects of singing tend to fall into place quite naturally, and the student can focus on getting the sound they want to hear when they sing without restriction. I also produce, and write songs with original artists.
