Hello! My name is Shala and I am a lover of all things oboe :) With 12+ years of experience, I have had the pleasure to travel the country and play in many exciting places. I began playing oboe in middle school and immediately knew it was my passion. Luckily, I was accepted into the Visual & Performing Arts academy of VA where I was able to study oboe throughout high school. Pursuing it further, I am now a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Music, emphasis on oboe. Some of my specialties include breath work, tone, and vibrato. However, I am confident I will be able to assist you with your particular needs. I am accepting students of all ages & all skill levels.
