I am currently studying clarinet performance at the University of Northern Colorado where I study under two of the best clarinetists in Colorado: Dr. Lauren Jacobson and Ms. Michelle Orman.
At the University of Northern Colorado, I am currently the principle clarinetist for the University's Symphonic Band (which is the university's middle band), and I have played with the Wind Ensemble (the top band at the University). In the past, I have also been apart of a clarinet trio known as the Jade Clover Trio with two of my collegues as well part of a clarinet choir that has performed in recitals and concerts at the university.
I am new to teaching and feel comfortable teaching beginning to intermediate students. I have been playing clarinet for over ten years and have played a variety of styles from classical to 20th century. My goal as a teacher is to instill a love of music into young people's minds and give them the skills necessary to pursue music if they choose.
As well as teaching clarinet, I can also give you lessons on music theory and aural skills training that will be essential as you continue your studies in music. If you have any questions at all, feel free to shoot me a message!
