Singing is the ultimate journey of authentic expression! It's not something you have or don't have- like anything there is just technique and practice. I teach using the principles of Bel Canto singing and Somatic Voicework, which just means that I have a classical foundation (that's what I study/do), but have a passion for all styles and can teach all styles! The voice is a holistic instrument, a combination of the body, heart, mind, and spirit of every person, and I always approach it with that in mind.  My goal is to give everyone the tools to use their voice how they want to use it, and guide them to a healthy, efficient, optimal, authentic sound that is their true inner voice.  Headed into my Masters degree in Classical Vocal performance, I love teaching all levels and backgrounds!

So glad our paths have crossed! I'm Sarah-  classically trained soprano, writer, and Mindfulness and Wellbeing educator. I have over 10 years of teaching experience, spread among piano students, voice student, and teaching/coaching swimming, which I've done since high school. I have my Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Virginia, and am pursuing  my masters in classical vocal performance. I would love to connect!
