    About Sarah G.

I have a K-12 music teaching degree and over a decade of experience working at daycares, preschools, church kids ministry, YMCA, etc. because of how passionate I am to work with young artists. I believe everyone (even big kids aka adults) has the ability to learn to music and discover ways to apply it to their life. I primarily teach string instruments (violin, viola, cello, ukulele, beginner guitar) but also have years of experience teaching beginner piano. I grew up classically trained and familiar with Suzuki curriculum but also have been studying fiddle styles and jazz/improvisations and songwriting to better help coach my students. I also actively gig in the local music scene doing a live looping violin/ukulele set and also in a rock band and striving to provide more live music that is family friendly. Let me help you, or someone you know, discover new ways to engage with music!
