I graduated from Missouri State University in 2013 with a teaching degree in Elementary Education with a music endorsement, plus a minor in Spanish. Then, I received my Master's degree at DePaul for Bicultural Bilingual education with an ESL endorsement in 2016. I have experience as a 4th-8th grade ESL teacher at a Chicago charter school, and I’m currently teaching 4th Grade ELA and Social Studies at the same school. I have a lot of experience teaching and working with kids through my career and outside activities.
I have also been playing piano since I was a kid. I took a break from it in early adulthood, but I have always enjoyed teaching beginners and building in them the same joy for music that I have. I currently take advanced lessons to keep up with my craft so I can provide the best possible instruction.
