Hi Everyone! My name is Sal and I'm a little obsessed with music. I play guitar, piano, and do a little bit of singing, but my strong skill is composition. I love writing new, original music and I firmly believe everyone has the ability to unlock the musician inside of them. My approach to learning music is a holistic approach. Music is more than just notes on a page or sounds coming from an instrument. I believe that music is an experience that encompasses the mind, body, and spirit. When's the last time you've gone to a concert and didn't belt out song lyrics or danced like no one was watching? We all respond to music in different yet unified ways. I majored in music at Rutgers-Newark University and have performed with the Rutgers Chorus, Rutgers Jazz ensemble, and with various artists through freelance gigs. Currently, I am a Music Teacher in West Caldwell with the hopes to bring out the potential in my students and showing the world of music to all!

He established a quick and friendly tone with my son instantly. And, inspired him to dabble in composing musical pieces. He taught class with creativity and zest!

Sal was great at breaking down the guitar to the basics and explaining how the strings and chords work together. He also planned out a lesion guide that brought the entire lesion together at the end with homework to help work on the skills we practiced.
