- Levels Taught:
- Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
As an advanced college student wrapping up my undergrad degree in music performance, I have had the wonderful experience of studying with many of the great professional players in New York City. With me, students would learn bassoon maintenance, basics and technique based on their level, posture and breathing, scales and arpeggios, etudes and solo pieces, and reed making and adjusting techniques.

I am currently completing my undergraduate degree in bassoon performance at New York University, with a minor in business studies. I am a member of the NYU orchestra, my chamber group Air Nouvea, and the New York Youth Symphony. Additionally I have played in small musical and opera productions in New York City; worked as a counselor at Luzerne Music Center in Lake Luzerne, New York; and interned at the Summertrios Music Festival in Lancaster, PA.
My beginning to advanced level students would learn how to advance their technique using practice techniques to increase productivity and efficiency through the study of scales, arpeggios, etudes, and solo repertoire. I would also emphasize posture and breathing as well as teach reed making and adjusting.
In addition to bassoon, I teach math, science, history, French, English/writing, and ACT/SAT prep. In high school, I was a member of the French Honor Society, competed in Washington D.C for We the People, and was a national merit semifinalist.
