    About Ryan C.

I am a student at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and have been learning in the presence of some of the best teachers in the country. I also play in various baroque ensembles, and have played in numerous festivals and venues across the country, such as the Bowdoin International Music Festival and the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC. I am the grand prize winner of the 2012 Hong Kong Bauhinia Competition. As a teacher, my goal is to make the student love the music he or she plays, so that he or she will always approach the instrument with a positive and enthusiastic mindset. This, in my opinion, will make for the best playing, and best experience. I hope that through my lessons, my students will continue to play the violin, and look to share that music with others.
