I love to work with all ages. Like many artist, I started off shy to sing and share my music but the more I practiced and performed, the more comfortable I became! I want to build that same confidence in my students. As a teacher, I am a vendor for Julian Charter Schools and have enjoyed helping a variety of talented singers and have Co-written piano songs with students. I have also helped in developing my students own original songs, finding their own creativity and personal growth in music while learning to read and play other music as well.

ROXANNE IS THE BEST!
You can always tell how much she loves the piano while she plays it. What I love about Roxanne is that she brings you out of your comfort zone. It can be a little intimidating learning something new, especially for younger ones, but Roxanne really gives them the confidence they need to just do it! Plus, she’s lots of fun which makes learning something new easier and enjoyable.

I really like that Roxanne works with the strengths of her students, especially in helping them write their own music while being firm that they also learn to read music. She has a great rapport with my children and is helping them to develop their God-given gifts.

Roxanne is an excellent music teacher, and plays from the heart. It is the love for what she does, that sets her apart from other teachers. Most music instructors are following a commercially driven style, that breeds regiment over fun. However, if playing music has the natural fun taken out of it, then the music produced by the student becomes a carbon copy, losing originality. These types of teachers are showing you how to imitate other artists, Roxanne shows you how to be an artist worthy of imitation.
