About Ross W.
I have been playing guitar for 25 years and feel that music is a universal language. I am well versed in blues, folk and rock, as well as having played traditional country, ska, and pop. I emphasize music theory with my lessons because I think it is important for the student to know why a song works. I teach using a combination of standard notation and tablature (a guitar-specific shorthand that is more useful for technique) and am comfortable with students of all ages and skill levels.
