Music has a profound affect on our quality of life and perception. No matter the skill level, the joy of listening and performing music is something nearly every person finds valuable to their life. I feel it is a privilege to have the opportunity to share my understanding of music with others.

I have been teaching publicly and privately for over 10 years. I teach music using songs the student(s) listen to. Fundamentals are introduced using the music that you love. I studied Music Education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) as well as classical guitar (IUP) and jazz guitar (IUP, Duquesne Faculty).

I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.

I’m having fun learning. But having never played a guitar. I think I need hands on. Virtual meetings isn’t the best way for me. I found looking at how to videos is a better way for me. Because I can watch them over and over again. When I first sign up for these lessons I did think it was done at your home. Finding out it was virtual . I figured I’d give it a shot. I’ll see how it goes for the rest of my lessons. But I have questions. And the internet isn’t one of my strong points. And asking questions for something I know very little about in a text, or email. Makes it harder to interpret . But so far so good. I’ve learned a couple cords. Now all I have to do is figure out everything else. I knew it was a very complicated instrument.
