Hi, I'm Rosie! I'm a sophomore Musical Theatre student at Youngstown State University. I grew up loving music of all sorts, and from the time I could speak, I've been singing!
I have a wide range of experience in singing. I have sang in choirs, musicals, cabarets, and pretty much any setting you can think of. I have extensive training in both classical and musical theatre voice, and have sung everything from high soprano to tenor!
I am a current working singing and actor. I perform as a paid church singer in my hometown and as an actor all around the general Northeast Ohio area. Recently, I was one of 120 college students in the country accepted into a highly selective musical theatre training intensive, The Open Jar Institute, that I will be attending this summer in New York City.
My focus as a teacher to help students establish a strong foundation of vocal technique and support, and then help them apply that to their chosen style of singing. I love helping fellow artists reach whatever goals they are shooting for, whether it be nailing a big audition or performing their favorite song for a recital! My biggest goal is to create a positive, encouraging environment for students to learn, where we can work together to help YOU accomplish YOUR specific goal, and help you share in your love and joy of singing!
