I'm a composer, teacher and producer. While I have taught Music Theory and Ear Training (and Electronic Music) at places like Harvard and Brandeis, I also have years of Improv experience and make it my #1 Priority to stick to the core Joy that brought us all to Music in the first place. I love to help my students gain a solid footing with new skills they can then take into their music-making lives -- professional or amateur. No matter what, music is a powerful force and we love it for its powerful hold on us. How wonderful it can be to better understand its inner workings. I always begin a relationship with a potential new student with a free 20-min online video conference (via Zoom) in which we can both determine whether our styles and goals might be a good fit for working together.
