I have worked at Yamaha school of music as a guitar teacher and for Guitar Center as a Certified Guitar & Accessories Expert. I have a fun approach to learning and focus on motivating you to do your best.
I believe that when you unlock and discover the amazing potential within you that you thought you never had, and the guitar did this for me (I personally have short fingers and had no prior musical background) it changes everything. I will help you learn about the guitar, build a solid foundation based on good technique, provide many different positive ways to understand important concepts, develop your ears, review your progress regularly and of course get you playing music and play it well. I will help plan the best ways you can use your available time to improve your playing level, all I ask is for a small level of commitment to practice regularly on your own all the material I give you. Important note: I teach songs yes, but mostly ones that I think will ultimately help you so that you can learn eventually whatever you want anytime you wish. If you like to learn a particular song / s thats great i can help you if you are struggling but if you are looking for the kind of teacher to show you note for note every song you want to learn each lesson then you may want to consider another instructor- i show you how to use the tools and you build whatever you like.
