I am a two-time graduate of Baylor University. I earned both my bachelor and master of music there in vocal performance. I was a National Finalist for the Metropolitan Young Artist Program and a Finalist for the Houston Opera Studio Young Artist Program. I enjoyed being a professional performer in opera and music theater for many years. I quit traveling and performing when my children were born 17 years ago. I have continued to perform and teach, in a limited capacity, while working in music ministry jobs since that time. My students are professional performers, conductors, teachers, ministers, recording artists, volunteers in worship ministries, and those who just enjoy studying music but have no plans to make it a profession. I love working with all ages, voice types, skill sets, and all levels of experience. It's this variety that makes my job so attractive. I also play the piano so I can accompany you during your lessons...no need for an accompanist.

Robin is extremly knowledgable, a great instructor, and personable. I felt comfortable at his home/studio and I reached the personal goals that I had set for myself. I highly recommend him.

Did not hear from Robin after an initial email from TL stating he would be reaching out to me. I called him this morning, 2 days prior to our first lesson, and was informed he needed cancelled my lessons.

Robin is an excellent voice teacher. When I first started taking lessons with him I had a very small, quiet singing voice and was very nervous singing in front of others. By the end of my college career (5 1/2 years), I had gained confidence in myself and my singing voice. I also improved leaps and bounds with my singing and I owe a large part of that to Robin Roewe. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a voice teacher!
