I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of North Texas. I also studied a 6 year piano degree in Spain, finishing the degree with the highest grade in piano performance. I can teach classical music, which is my specialty. If you like to learn the music of Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin and many others, I would be glad to teach you!! In addition, we could study other styles too! Pop songs, Rock, Jazz, your favorite songs, some special song that you always wanted to learn. I can help you to obtain a great touch on the keyboard and learn how to read music and how to express the music written by the great composers. I have experience teaching from young students to adults in Spain and in the US. I also love teaching music theory. Music theory is the knowledge that let us learn and understand how harmony, melody and rhythm intertwine in a musical piece. I hold a Minor in Spanish from the University from North Texas and also I hold a Spanish Teaching Certification from the State of Texas. Therefore, I can teach grammar, writing and perfect pronunciation. If you are asking yourself if it is the same language than Central and Southern American Spanish, yes. It is the same language. The only difference that we have is in vocabulary or some expressions. An example would be how British vocabulary and American vocabulary differ. In any case, it is the same exact language.
