Rob. E has over 20 years of professional experience as a drum teacher, and is a veteran U.S Army Musician. Rob. E teaches students of all ages and backgrounds: children to adults, beginners to advanced. I have over twenty-five years professional experience encompassing rock, funk, blues ,classical, theater, jazz and everything in-between. Teaching for me is sharing my love of drums with my students. With that in mind, I strive to make learning fun and full of the excitement of discovery! I encourage questions and making mistakes as you learn. Why? Because playing an instrument is one of the most rewarding experiences you’ll ever have! *** Lesson Details *** All drum set students studying with Rob, children and adults, are offered a comprehensive curriculum that combines the study of classical, jazz, rock and pop music and is tailored to each students individual interests and abilities. The snare drum and drum set are rich with excellent performance repertoire, including music from classical, rock, pop, funk, Big Band and modern jazz. During my lessons I incorporate music fundamentals such as sight-reading, rudiments, rhythms, practicing techniques and performance skills into all of my private drum lessons. I also include elementary and advanced music theory studies in my lessons to help each student feel more comfortable and confident when playing the drum set in any musical environment.
