My versatility, experience and formal training helps me to make the learning experience easy, stress free and fun.
Additionally, I've produced, written for multiple billboard charting artists as well as multiple theme songs for shows on Nickelodeon and Fox.
I currently internationally with multiple well known artists as well as teaching about 50 lessons a week.
Since 2014, I have released 15 singles and five EPs and in early 2017 another two EPs. I am currently endorsed by PRS guitars, Elixir Strings, Audix Microphones, Burns Guitars and Basses, and various pedal companies.

Richard is an amazing musician and teacher. He taught 3 of my children to play. All 3 played in High School Band and one of them is now a serious Jazz musician - Graduating from Berkley.
Richard is a real find; If he has space for you, grab your opportunity and consider yourself fortunate, as is in high demand. Not only does he have raw musical talent, (which will amaze you), he possesses the rare ability to teach. He teaches all ages and all levels of guitar. His patience is endless and his enthusiasm contagious. Everyone raves about him!!+ Read More
This guy makes learning and practicing FUN!!!
Fantastic player and even better teacher! I've been trying to learn guitar on and off for years, but I always lose interest somehow or get distracted. Litereally until i started taking with this dude.
Richard is an incredibly enthusiastic musician with a clear and concise "A-B" teaching approach. He created my own custom lesson plan with clear goals for each month to measure my improvements and keep me interested.
He started us off by asking WHY and WHAT I wanted to play. And then thats what we did. As simple as that.
He would teach me every song I wanted to play. I would bring in a song and he would teach it to me on the spot - the instant gratification of making the sounds I wanted to make was so addicting!
Then of course there was the theory!
He has the ability to break down complex musical rules into easily digestable knowledge bites - pulling back the curtain on what I considered "secrets" with soloing, and chords. He always seems to know just what i need to get to the next point in my playing and prevent "plateauing"
Anyway, I'm babbling, but all i can say is i still take from him after 2 years, and I've sent many many many students his way.
Richard is an outstanding guitarist with a deep musical knowledge of theory, style, expression and music history. His experience ranges from pop to jazz to classic rock to funk to hip hop and whatever is currently happening now in LA. His years of taking lessons from some of the best performers on the guitar really come across in his teaching methods. He not only shows you, he explains the whys and hows to make you really get your playing accross. He can teach you what the pros have done and are doing now. I highly recommend Richard Wynne.+ Read More
