I’m a multi-instrumentalist with 20 years of teaching and performing experience. My teaching experience includes a guitar class at Dodge City Community College and guitar lessons at Kansas State University. Since 2010 I have taught guitar, electric bass, piano, and ukulele lessons at Manning Music in Manhattan, Kansas. I’ve been fortunate to teach a large and diverse group of great students of all ages, skill levels, and styles. In 2020, like many teachers, I switched to online lessons. When I was able to resume in-person lessons, I continued to teach online lessons as well. Although there are advantages to in person lessons, I believe online lessons can be a valuable tool to anyone wanting to improve as a musician. As a performer, my credits include performing at the 2013 Costa Rica Jazz Festival and playing with Joshua Breakstone, John Stein, and Wayne Goins. I also play regularly at local venues, both as a solo performer and with groups of various sizes and genres. I consider guitar to be my “main” instrument, but I also perform on bass, piano, ukulele and even ukulele bass! My debut album, “Last Call,” is available on Spotify, Itunes, and Amazon.
