I have tabla available for students to use during lessons. I have 17 years of tabla learning and playing experience under the traditional style of learning in India--the guru-shishya parampara system. I do my best to give each student the same authentic experience I was lucky to have. My lessons are geared towards being fun and informative at the same time. I love sharing knowledge! My love of tabla and of playing tabla is what I live for. I also have a lot of experience with playing tabla as a profession, since I have been doing so for the past 7 years. I have a unique perspective of having lived in India for ten years, and having come back to the states and work as a professional tabla player :)

I am a classically trained tabla player that studied in India for 10 years under Ravi Shankar’s tabla player, Pt. Ishwar Lal Mishra. I have been playing for 16 years and performing professionally for 7 years. I have been teaching tabla since 2008. My website is w w w dot neybuu dot com.
