Hey there!

As a Vocal Coach and Performance Coach, I am thrilled to help my students find freedom to sing in their own style, while staying healthy with good technique.

I specialize in working with beginner and intermediate Adults and Teens, who struggle with performance anxiety and want to explore hidden talents. Singing is a vulnerable thing, so it's very important for me to create a sense of safety for every student to feel comfortable enough to begin to explore their voice and self-expression. As a singer songwriter myself, I've battled with stage fright and know the frustrations it brings. That personal experience along with my work with abuse survivors, has given me a special sensitivity and understanding of the emotional needs of my students, enabling me to help them work through their roadblocks in life.

I have studied under some fabulous coaches over the last 20 years, who have taught Taylor Swift, Justin Beiber, Natasha Bedingfield, Hayley Williams and more. All of this I bring to my students with passion and confidence, knowing that they can truly achieve their goals!

Are you ready to get started on finding freedom in your voice? I'm here to help and am rooting for you!

Vocal Coach/ Performance Coach

Jul 2002 - Present
Vocal Coach Ree Boado

I've taught voice for 14 years and taken lessons for 20 years. I studied classical, musical theater and acting at Grand Canyon University, but I gained most of my vocal power and control after graduating by studying with vocal coaches of artists such as Natasha Bedingfield, Justin Bieber, Hayley Williams and Taylor Swift. Because of this personal experience, I mostly incorporate VocalizeU and Speech Level Singing techniques, and have taught students from ages 4-63 over the last 14 years.

For the last few years I have studied under top vocal coach Vanessa Purdy and I recently received more training from internationally renowned, Nashville Vocal Coach Lisa Haupert through her online course for voice teachers, BAST. Lisa is also the Education Manager of the esteemed VocalizeU teacher network and has been trained in speech science, vocal pedagogy, and medicine through the Summer Vocology Institute with Dr. Ingo Titze, the leader in vocal science. I've gleaned a lot of wisdom and tools from this knowledgeable woman through watching her teach and have been seeing even more results with my students after training with Lisa. I'm also a part of a vocal coach network, where I learn new things about the voice almost daily.

Ree is an amazing instructor for my 7 year old daughter!! She has been working on her breathing techniques, vocal exercises and practicing her favorite song from Frozen! My daughter can't get enough and the lesson time flies by. Ree developed an instant rapport and is excellent at teaching to such a young (easily distracted) girl! Thank you Ree!!

Best Teacher Ever!

Ree has not only taught me how to control my vocals and different practice routines but she has taught me to believe in myself and learn that you can do anything you set your mind to. I never knew my voice could do so many things until she taught me to experiment. She is super nice and down to earth. I know i don't have to feel judged or shy around her. She is patient and very knowledgeable! I definitely recommend her to anyone!
