- Teaching since:
I am a professional guitar and bass player. I studied jazz and classical guitar at the Chicago Academy for the Arts and I am currently studying Electro Acoustic Engineering at Concordia University. I have toured across the US and Canada and have released five albums under various projects. I have studied and played with the likes of Stefon Harris, Ensemble Dal Niente and Eighth Black Bird.
Seeing that I am still young and attending University I tend to form a really a strong bond with younger students. Over the past five years I have developed a teaching technique for beginner students that involves first learning in open G tuning. This allows for the student to be able to play songs by the end of our first lesson. I believe the most important thing is helping students nurture a passion for their instrument and music because in the beginning the guitar should be fun and exciting, not frustrating.
I can also teach intermediate and advanced students in Rock, Jazz, Blues as well as more experimental genres such as math rock, contemporary classical (New Music), noise rock, shoegaze and doom metal.
I look forward to helping you become a better musician in multiple aspects!!

Hello! I booked my daughter with Reade. Her 1st lessons was terrific. He spoke professionally and slowly . We have already booked our next month worth of lessons. Very happy we found him
Wonderful teacher! I had my seven-year-old, Petar, start lessons with Mr. Wildman a few months ago (after a disappointing experience with the School of Rock in Oak Park, IL, where we live) Reade is always very understanding with Petar, who has barely any experience with guitar. We have started online lessons recently after Reade moved away from Illinois, and Reade has been very accommodating and punctual... would recommend a thousand times!+ Read More
