I have been teaching the violin for 3 years, and my students have developed a deeper understanding and love for the instrument! Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to have great set-up and you'll soon be able to play with a beautiful sound.  I specialize in classical music and the Suzuki method and typically use Suzuki books and basic violin repertoire. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

I am a teacher who is passionate about music and performing. I am a violist by trade, but I teach both the violin and the viola. I love working with students of all ages, and I strive to pass on my knowledge of the instrument(s) and build a relationship of trust with each student I teach. Rachel Hall is one of the most thoughtful and detail minded musicians that I've worked with in my 25 years as a professional performer and teacher. She is intelligent, patient, knowledgable, and responsible. In addition to having a thorough knowledge of the viola as a teacher, she is a very fine performer as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player. I can give her my highest recommendation!!

Rachel Hall is a fantastic musician and dedicated teacher. I have worked with her as a performer and have also witnessed her teach high school viola students. Her sense of organization, her passion, and her joy make her a special human being and very caring teacher. She is enthusiastic to share her knowledge with children and will go out of her way to make each student feel important and special. One time, I watched her perform side by side with one of her students in a prestigious venue, and he became so nervous, he got sick on the stage. She proceeded to take him backstage and take care of him until his parents could help him, even though she missed a significant performance. Her heart and skills make her an excellent teacher.
