Piano with Pollyanna M.

Pollyanna has taught music for over 20 years. In 1996 Pollyanna founded a private studio where she teaches piano, voice and Bodymapping. She also offers a Group Vocal Class at Portland Community College SE Campus. In this class she teaches theory, ear training, vocal skills and accompanies the group songs. For over 15 years she was part of the Marylhurst University music faculty and she taught on the adjunct music faculty at Portland Community College, Rock Creek Campus. Pollyanna accompanies her voice students during lessons and in the children's recitals. Pollyanna, soprano, sings with Light Opera of Portland and Fireside Carolers. She has been a featured soloist with many groups, including members of the Oregon Symphony, Vivace Voices, the Oregon Repertory Singers and Marylhurst Choral Union. She received her Masters in Vocal Performance from Portland State University. She is a certified Andover Educator (Body Mapping) and a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS).
