I enjoy working with students of all ages, and have experience teaching from ages 4 to 80! I have a dedicated approach to helping you improve, but am generally relaxed and always want to make sure that piano lessons are a fun and rewarding experience. My piano studio in Silverlake is a beautiful and professional space, with lots of light and a view of the San Gabriel mountains. There is easy parking on the street, and it's easy to get to from most locations in Los Angeles. I am dedicated to making music a rewarding experience for my students. I bring enthusiasm and professionalism to every lesson. I will develop a personalized plan for you to reach your musical goal as quickly as possible. I received my bachelor’s degree in music from Stanford University, and my master’s degree in piano performance at California State University, Northridge. I've served as the head piano teacher at Musonia School of Music, and taught private and class piano at California State University, Northridge.

Peter is a wonderful teacher with a beautiful space located in Los Feliz. There is plenty of parking and the location is easy to get in and out of. He is extremely patient and excellent at listening to my needs as a student. I have learned so much about music theory since I have started with Peter and hope to conitinue to grow and learn with him.

Peter's studio is conveniently located, and there is ample and easy parking. As an adult learner, I was very nervous to begin, and Peter has put me at ease. He takes things in a logical order and is extremely supportive. I always feel very confident in beginning something new due to his thorough explanations and demonstrations. I am really enjoying getting to know the piano, and Peter has made it even more enjoyable!

A wonderful introduction to piano for an adult beginner, with no musical background. My first lesson was engaging and informative - I am excited to continue!
