Trombone with Pat R.

I've been playing trombone for approx 20 years. I perform regularly in New Orleans music clubs and have a degree in music performance. I began as a classically trained musician playing in the wind ensemble, symphony, and jazz band. I have academic training in a wide range of styles; composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Stravinsky, Hindemith, Holst, Charles Mingus, Duke Ellington, John Phillip Sousa, etc. Although this music training was very rewarding and educational, it was not until I moved to New Orleans in 2003 that I truly fell in love with playing trombone. New Orleans style trombone is the most fun and exciting style of trombone, I want to share this with the world and show students how much fun playing trombone can be.
