I have very extensive training in music, with many years of study on both cello and piano. I have been studying both violin and viola within the past few years, to learn more about the rest of the string family, to help with teaching students at one of the facilities where I work, and to have even more fun! I perform extensively, mostly with a string quartet I'm in, and love working with all students of all ages! *** Lesson Details *** Each lesson is tailored to the student's unique characteristics: his or her abilities, personality, temperament, attention span, etc. I include a variety of items into lessons, like theory, history, science (of sonics), and more, as needed to help the student get the most from whatever we're working on at the moment. *** Studio Equipment *** I have all equipment needed for successful (and enjoyable!) lesson experiences; I can even lend an instrument for the session (except for less-than 4/4 size string instruments) if need be. *** Specialties *** Cello Piano Violin Viola Music Theory
