Hi, I'm Noah! I've been playing guitar for almost 20 years! I have a degree in music, and am familiar with a wide variety of musical styles.
I've played with rock bands at venues like The Chicago House of Blues, The Double Door, The Empty Bottle, and Martyrs', along with a long list of bars and studios around Chicago. I've also played on stage and in pit bands for many musicals and stage plays.
I love to teach! My current roster of students spans from seven-year-olds to fifty-seven-year-olds. I find it rewarding to teach both complete beginners to the instrument and advancing guitarists looking to improve their play and musicianship. I like to keep lessons fun and laid back, but I look for improvement every week. I consider technique, theory, ear training, and improvisation particular strengths I can pass on to students, but my ultimate goal is to get you playing the music you want to be making; everything else is just tools to help get you there and keep you there!
