    About Nikki L.

Hello there! For the past nine years I have taught students of all ages and ability. In addition to maintaining a private studio, I have also taught at the college level as a graduate teaching assistant. While enrolled in flute lessons, students will receive instruction on developing tone, technique and musicality on the flute as well as focus on proper breathing and posture. In addition to being coached on practicing techniques, problem solving and setting and achieving realistic goals, students will learn how to constructively and positively assess their own playing. This creates a sense of ownership that allows the student to blossom into a mature musician and lifelong lover of music. This is my primary goal and purpose as a teacher. I am looking forward to meeting you and assisting you with your musical goals!!!
