Cello with Nick L.

Hello, my name is Nick and I am looking for students who love music, with whom I can share my knowledge and help them to learn and grow towards their musical goals. I am a very easygoing person, but that does not mean I will not challenge my students! I believe it is important to have enthusiasm for music to be successful, but equally important is musicians' health. I am very passionate about doing everything I can to help other musicians to perform and practice in such a way that they can avoid injury and continue to play for many, many years hopefully their whole lives!. I have been playing music on one instrument or another for 20 years. The cello is my primary instrument, which I have played for 17 years. I also have a Bachelor of Music in Performance from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio. I have many years of performance experience at both the conservatory and professional levels from which I have learned so much. But I find that I learn even more from teaching music to others.
