I am a free-lance arranger in Nashville for anything and everything. I have written marching band shows, horn charts, rhythm charts and many more. I have written for both live shows as well as for studio recording sessions.

I am a Grammy nominated free lance studio trumpet player living in Nashville, TN as well as a touring musician with acts like MercyMe. I have played in everything from horn sections and musicals to big bands and weddings. My versatility as a trumpet player is pushed by the wide genre of music in Nashville. I stay busy playing with several of the top corporate bands Nashville as well as working with artist as part of the horn section. I am fortunate enough to be a part of many different bands in Nashville both live and in the studio. 

My time is often split between playing and arranging. I write music for everything from high school and college marching bands to  studio horns for an artist. I have a great deal of music theory knowledge that I will be happy to add into your lessons.

I am much more than just another teacher with a degree. There is so much to be learned from someone who is actually playing your instrument for a living. I have played in many arenas as well as playing on the Castle in Disney World. I know what it takes to become the best you can be at your instrument. I look forward to getting started with you soon!

I have been taking trumpet lessons from Nick for about 3 years and have always looked forward to lessons.
