I have over 6 years of experience instructing people of all ages in guitar. I have immense experience playing in many projects as a guitarist. I can teach a variety of styles and specialize in genres like Blues, Rock, Reggae, Ska, and more! I individualize my lessons to let you guys learn what you want to learn! I implement music theory and learning techniques along with learning songs and song writing to help you create your own music! *** Lesson Details *** With every student I teach the same basics. I start with basic chords, notes, and rhythms so the student has a strong basic technique. I then move on to individualize the lessons to specific students, whether they want to learn more songs, techniques, or whether they want to focus on a specific genre. After 6 months of lessons you can expect to have a strong base in the technique of the instrument, songwriting, and have learned a good amount of songs in the genres of your choice! I am very laid back and patient and am happy to move at a pace that is good for every individual student! *** Travel Equipment *** I expect the student to provide an instrument and any teaching materials, such as books. *** Specialties *** I can teach a wide variety of styles and genres. However, I specialize in blues, rock, metal, ska, reggae, and other contemporary styles. However, my general approach is to see what the student wants to get out of playing guitar and want to teach them what they want to learn.
