My name is Nicholas and I am a physics major and education and math minor at Clark University. I just finished my first year of college and I am tutoring over the summer, doing curriculum math and SAT/ACT math. I've been an assistant teacher at public schools before, teaching 10th grade math, and I have done one-on-one math work with other students. I am looking to bring enthusiasm to my tutoring, and try to bring relevance into math, because through my experience I've learned that students remain interested in a subject if they see relativity. Thank you for your time!

Photos & Videos

Here is an interesting video that makes you think about how humans count and do math, compared to how we are naturally supposed to do it.
This is me making holograms using lasers for a physics project.

A way to prove why adding all numbers, from 1 to infinity, is equal to -1/12. I can prove this wrong but it is still an interesting concept.

My son has improved exponentially with Nick's instruction! He makes tennis fun. I wanted my son to get good exercise and to learn the sport. He didn't look forward to it at first, but now going to a lesson is just hangout time and he can't wait to go.

Nicholas gave my 9-year old grandson, Aidan, a total of four one-hour lessons and in that time my grandson got Impressively better at playing and became enthusiastic about the game. Nicholas was the perfect instructor for Aidan. He taught him the fundamentals but kept the lessons fun. He related easily with Aidan. I would recommend Nicholas to anyone with a beginner player.
