Hi! My name is Nick and I have been teaching guitar, piano, and songwriting lessons for 2 years both privately and also as part of Oaklawn Music Studio in Rhode Island, and St. Maria Goretti School in Long Beach, CA. I have played the guitar for 11 years, been singing for 7, played piano and ukulele for 4, and producing/mixing/audio-engineering for 2. I moved from my home state of Rhode Island to Los Angeles in 2016-2017 and attended the Los Angeles College of Music in Pasadena, CA to earn a Certificate in Music Composition (Songwriting) and have written over 150 songs myself. I have played several live shows around Los Angeles and Rhode Island at farmers markets, art shows, coffee shops (humble venues), and have served as a session instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and engineer for numerous studio sessions around Los Angeles. If you have any questions about any of my experience (or anything for that matter) feel free to reach out :)+ Read More
Taught 1 hour music lessons in a classroom setting for children of grades Pre-K through 8th (age 4-14). 1 hour per grade per week PLUS had numerous 30 and 60 minute private lessons after class with students (1-on-1).
Average 5 private 30 minute guitar lessons weekly for children of ages 6-13.
Nicholas was a wonderful employee and excellent instructor! The students enjoyed and were engaged when Nicholas taught lessons during and after school.
He is greatly missed at St. Maria Goretti School
Nick is a very patient and fun teacher! He is very knowledgeable and really encourages his students to practice as much as they can. I would not recommend anyone else for lessons!
Wonderful, patient, and passionate about music. Really helps spark an interest in passion and music for kids. So impressed with his ability to connect with his students! I really appreciated his flexibility in scheduling lessons - it made it so much easier when things came up and we needed to reschedule. Self-taught, he knows wonderful techniques and strategies to help teach the kids he works with.+ Read More
