Drumming is in my bones. I am a lifelong musician, and got my first kit when I was 3 years old. I stepped on stage for the first time just a few years later at the age of 6. After stints in countless local garage and cover bands, I found myself behind the kit in the Mid-Atlantic High School All Star Grammy Band.
I continued my studies at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA where I played in a variety of large and small group settings, and obtained a degree in Music Composition. After graduation in '06 I moved to Brooklyn to pursue a music career. There, I found a wide variety of musical opportunities which have enriched my playing and musical sensibilities. I've played numerous New York stages including the legendary Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall, Mercury Lounge, Union Pool, Cameo Gallery, and Pete's Candy Store to name a few. Additionally, I've done multiple east coast tours, and performed a 3 month run of the award winning musical "Witness Uganda" (aka Invisible Thread) at the renowned American Repertory Theater in Boston, MA.
Now residing in Atlanta, I'm looking forward to growing within the music world here, and sharing ideas with many new students.
