Trumpet with Nathan K.

Hello! My name is Nathan Kay. I'm a Trumpet Player, Composer, Producer, and Arranger living in Los Angeles, California. I'm from a small town in southeastern Wisconsin and grew up in a musical family. Since a young age I've always drawn inspiration from all kinds of music including Pop, Jazz, Classical, Film Scores, House, EDM, and R&B. I was extremely fortunate to attend the Eastman School of Music (BM) soon followed by the Berklee College of Music (MM) at the Global Jazz Institute led by Danillo Perez. These days I keep myself busy writing and recording music on multiple projects for others as well as my own. I believe everyone has music in them! My job as a teacher is to bring the best out of students and make sure we're all having fun while doing it! If I could pick one work to describe myself as a teacher it would be "patient." People learn in various ways and at different speeds but I'm ready to accept all challenges and make sure we all go above and beyond our personal goals.
