I was the composer in residence, so I taught the students (aged elementary-high school) basic music theory and aural skills. I also worked with my composition fellow (high school aged) on the skills required to be a working composers, and worshipped a new piece with them. As a faculty colleague I collaborated with the other faculty on a new work which received a premiere during the festival.
