- Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
Most of us have some ability to hear pitches and play by ear. However, many people don't trust their own ability or never explore ear training on their own. In my classes, we begin with identifying a single pitch and then learning to hear intervals, chords, chord progressions and eventually, chord inversions and complex scales.

Hello everyone. My name is Mitch and I hope to be your music teacher soon! I have been teaching music since 2000, I have a degree in Music Education. Music is undoubtedly my number one passion and teaching it to others is most fulfilling. I have been in various bands and musical productions and I am currently holding the position of Assistant Director of Contemporary Music at the Church in which my family attends. I don't use your lesson time as my "show off time". I expect students to practice daily and attend lessons prepared and ready to build on the previous lesson. I cherish the long term relationships I have with my students, former students and parents. I hope to welcome you into that circle and help you build the skills necessary to color your life with music.Show More
My School of Music has the capability to teach online, in the studio or pre-recorded video lessons. I transcribe music for SMP press, create videos for Udemy, Vimeo and YouTube.
I am responsible for arranging and transcribing music for the band as well as lead the band. My primary role is lead guitar but occasionally I have to set in on other instruments due to absences. I help singers find their key and help the band transpose to that key. As in any leadership role, I motivate, teach, problem solve and build relationships.Show More
My role at The Trade Center was to be the primary "Go To" guy for all students seeking instruction on guitar, bass, piano or drums. I conducted concerts, recitals and group jams on a regular basis.

I have been taking electric guitar lessons for a few months. I learned a lot in those few short months. He has a lot of talent and is a great teacher.
I have been taking drum lessons with Mitch for over 2 years. He is a great teacher!
Mitch is very attentive to a student's level of learning and is patient with the student. But if a given lesson is quickly learned, he moves forward right away. This means to me he pays attention to what is going on and is flexible to help the student get the best use of their time.Show More
Very knowledgeable of drums and teaching others to play...even lefties. Good flow to lessons and material presented.
I was getting back into bass playing after a 20 year hiatus. Mitch really helped me get my legs back under me, helped me learn how to break down a song to learn the bass parts, and even got me an audition with a local band. He’s easy going but a really outstanding musician who helped me up my game tremendously. Great teacher!Show More
I have been taking drum lessons with Mitch for a couple months now. He is a very good teacher and I have learned a lot already. I’m taking lessons to learn how to play the drums so I can be a back up drummer at my church.
Mitch is awesome at what he does and I would recommend him to anyone that would like to learn how to play or wants to bring to life any song they have written or needs to record a demo or anyone that needs a professional touch to their songs...
