I am a classically trained voice and guitar teacher who has experience both in teaching and performing. I attended college at Auburn University where I received my degree in vocal music education and played guitar extensively with several bands ranging from rock to jazz to show. Some of my vocal accomplishments include playing Figaro in The Marriage of Figaro, the wolf in "Little Red Riding Hood", performing at the Lincoln Center in New York as well as performing in several bands that toured nationally. I am experienced in all styles and can help with any goal you wish to achieve. I have also played guitar for several years with nationally touring bands and can train by ear as well as by chord charts and note reading.

Mitch has been very encouraging and patient. By helping me identify my weakness as well as my strengths, Mitch has inspired me to continue to practice to eventually overcome my complete lack of natural talent. Mitch is also very knowledgeable about the guitar and because of this he has been able to help me use my guitar to learn to sing. At the same time he inserts a little music theory as it relates to the guitar. This is valuable to me because it helps me achieve my two of my musical goals simultaneously.

good teacher Mitch is seeing exactly, what I'm doing wrong and he is giving me very good hints, what I can do to make it better. I have fun and see from week to week, that I am getting better and better. He knows how fast he can go with me and put the right pressure on me, so that I have to prepare myself for the next lesson. He is a very good teacher!!!!

Mitch is a great guy and a great teacher. We dove right into, but he wasn't pushy or forceful. He made me feel comfortable. I would recommend him to anybody looking for singing or guitar lessons. =)
