Drums with Mike H.

Hello! I've been teaching drums for 6 years and I have my own drumming program that I've implemented on the East Side of Austin at 4 different elementary schools the past 2 years. In 2013 I won volunteer of the year from the Central Texas Afterschool network for my volunteer work with children at Heart House and The BeHive. I've worked with children from Kindergarten - 5th grade. I also have adult students one of which already has her own band and is playing out after a year of lessons. I've also traveled all over the country as a roadie, drum tech, driver and photographer for a nationally touring band so I have experience with the business side of Music as well. Additionally I have a band here in town that I actively play out and perform with so I could give advice on where to start playing in Austin.
